Winchester and District Athletic Club (Juniors Section)
Development of young athletes is very important to WADAC. The Junior section has grown over the past few years from around 30 to 200 registered junior members and over 100 regularly turning up for training each week. The aim is to provide as many opportunities for Juniors to try out new skills and events and help them find their speciality event(s) with a view to competing for WADAC from Junior through to Senior level. The main junior session takes place on Thursdays 630-730pm at the University Athletics track at Bar End. The club caters for 9-18 year olds (ie school years 4-11).
